New York, Miami, Dallas, Chicago, LA, and maybe Pittsburgh, I live in Pittsburgh and there isn’t many wedding planners here, but I reckon it could maybe profit here considering there isn’t many to choose from. And anywhere that isn’t suffering to terribly from the economy, many people can’t afford a wedding planner these days!

I’d say in a place where people have larger amounts of disposable income. Even if, not necessarily a huge city, because the competition might be too fierce.

I’d pick an area where there is a large number of people with really excellent paying jobs, but that lack a service like this. So, reckon rich suburbs or upper middle class towns.

I would stay where you live now and start researching the neighboring communities. Do any fit this demographic? If so, you might have a excellent match!

There’s a excellent seminar coming up in Florida if you live around, it might help you a lot. Let me know if you need details. As for the where, you can start a wedding preparation affair anywhere that you reckon brides are going to need your services. But just like any other affair, you need a plot and some strategies.
