Depending on where you live; the type and amount of photography services you want; and how excellent the photographer is, you can expect to spend anywhere from $700-6,000. It sounds like a lot, but this isn’t the place to scrimp because you will get what you pay for!

There are a lot of small things that go into preparation a wedding. My wife used http://www.weddingkit.info and the site’s kit helped keep track of everything.

You will be amazed at all the details, all the buzz calls, all the estimates.

    Congrats and excellent luck!

theknot.com is brilliant, they have a checklist, a budget, a touch to help with getting your invites together…

First things are first.. You need to set a date. Because without a date you cant get a spot with a church or where ever you are having your wedding. And that is really the most vital thing. Everywhere you go when interviewing for a caterer, photographer, reception site and florist.. They all want a date.

The next huge thing is your clothing. The wedding dress and tux and so on and so forth.. You might need alterations or bead work done which needs to be done ahead of time so you dont have to be stressed.

Then after all that.. and you have everything picked out then it is time to pay people and start looking into invitations and save the date cards.

Save the date cards go out a small after 6 months of being engaged but to have them bought you need a date! haha I know lots of work.

Then there is the all the small goodies you give to your guests at the reception.

    and then the rehersal dinner.
You might want to use the same caterer…

And then the day of your wedding.. having someone who does the wedding partys hair and makeup…

And then well going and saying I do!…

    It a lot of work..

Id recomend alternative up a wedding preparation book…

    Congrats! And excellent luck!

The largest thing that goes into preparation a wedding: STRESS. It’s a fun ride that can get bumpy at times, kinda like a roller coaster.
