To have a really excellent time with your guest and to make sure you get a dance with your husband.
Have fun and make it seem like it’ll last a life time for that ONE day you got married!

Also remember your wedding vows<<<those are vital.

Don’t forget your garter! Don’t forget the marriage certificate that the 2 of you will have to sign. My brother and his wife forgot theirs at their home and someone had to run and get it aptly when the wedding started!

Make sure you remember your marriage certificate, the rings, all the pieces of your dress (garter, veil, shoes, jewelry, etc). Maybe a portable steamer in case someone gets wrinkly.

I have heard you should bring a mini sewing kit for any emergencies that may arise.

Oh and your vows, if you wrote your own.

    Hope that helps!

Just keep a level head (if anything) and don’t forget her ring. If you have forgetten anything else then I’m sure it won’t be noticable but please do not forget the ring.

Delight in your date leading to your special day.

Congratulations to you and your fiancee

Yes, pre-pack all the stuff you need to take. I had a lot of DIY, so that was half my apartment building at that top — I still laid it out in a corner so it would all be in one place.

Mostly, try to relax and delight in the day. I hope there is someone else coordinating your vendors etc (it could be your parents, a friend, or prof. wedding planner) so you don’t have to worry about a thing.

Remember that as long as everyone is alive and well at the end of the day, it’s been a excellent day. As long as you and the groom are still together at the end of the day, it’s been a fantastic day. As long as you both say "I DO," you’re dreams have come right. As long as your wedding goes well with only a few minor flubs, like the cake falling on the floor, or a photographer that doesn’t show, your wedding has far exceeded what many women will never experience. And if it goes off without a hitch, your wedding has made the impossible possible! Keep everything in perspective, remember why you’re there, delight in yourself, and don’t take anything other than "I DO" too seriously. Congrats!

write down everything that needs taking care of for the church/venue/cake/flowers/overnight clothes (usually the hotel questions you to call them and go over everything to double check)

and write another list of things you need for yourself on the day hair times/jewellery etc

stick it up on the wall and obey

I am too getting married soon - April 18th. I feel your pain. I am going NUTS and on top of that my bday was 3/23 and my fiance bought me a puppy - so I am going NUTS! Small things to remember are - favors, candles for your tables (i dont know about you but my place does not give that), centerpieces, bells (so people can ring so you can kiss), seating chart!! takes forever to do because this one doesn’t talk to that one, etc (at least in my family) and remember the most vital thing on the day of your wedding - EAT! Do not become one of those brides that are so worried they don’t sleep or eat and they end up throwing up at the reception..trust me, not cool!

Pay attention and make a conscious effort to delight in the day and what’s happening. Some brides get so wrapped up in what should be going on and in succession the show, they miss out on the enjoyment of it all! You figure you’ve done the preparation–the wedding day the preparation will either work or it won’t (it will)–just let it all play out and delight in those you like and what’s going on!
