The best thing you can do is have the bride pick out a picture of a "look" cast off like to have. Then schedule a pre wedding appointment and recreate the look to her satisfaction, then there’s no second guessing on the huge day. You feel better and so does she!

Try HD foundation and stay away from makeup with sunscreen in it. It looks terrible in photographs. Also, make sure you use a foundation that matches her face and her neck. No one likes a bride with a ghost face.

question her to show you her flowers. and do a color scheme with that. like if the flowers are pink then place pink on her eyes or blue you know.. then maybe a rhinestone or two beside the eye to make em pop.. but go with the color of her flowers so her eyes will pop she will be gorgeous

Don’t use any products containing sunscreen. They will not photograph well.

make sure you find out if they have any allergies and always make sure to clean all your brushes before you go there. also know that weddings = pictures so as you want to keep the makeup natural and pretty you still will need to make sure it doesn’t get washed out in the photos so make sure you accent and highlight cheekbones and brow ridges. i would stick with natural colors mixed with some pinks. this keeps a clean palette and makes your bride fresh looking. also always have a trial run so that you can best determine the type and style your bride wants (but don’t forget to charge for this)

if the wedding is going to be at night i would use bolder colors that will stand out but remember this isn’t a club night out with the girls its a wedding and still needs to be gorgeous.

make sure to have extra blusher brushes and lip brushes so your not contaminating your tubes, glosses and lipsticks. carry some paper towels and or a smock so that your powers don’t fall on to any clothes.

just remember to relax, brides can be a worried wreck on wedding days and the less stress the better so give yourself at least a excellent 45 mins. that way there’s no rushing!

I would just do very natural and gorgeous makeup.
I would suggest starting with a light concealer and foundation or painted moisturiser depending on what the bride prefers. Dust a small amount of translucent powder over the top so as to stop shinyness when she is being photograped.
Maybe a small amount of bronzer and blush but I’m not exactly sure as I don’t know what the bride looks like and what her color palatte is.
For the eyes I would stick to just plain taupes, canvases, whites and light browns. Perhaps LIGHTLY line the eye with a small eyeliner but makesure its waterproof. Finally lots and lots of waterproof blusher to make the eyes pop.
Close the lips with a light pink, light red or just plain gloss.
This all depends on what the bride looks like…I need more information to give you full details.

Make sure to have a kit on the day with:
Concealer (both illumination, pinks and green to cover any redness or sallow spots)
    Foundation or Painted Makeup
    Translucent Powder
    Bronzer (cream and powder)
    Highlighting cream
    Blush
A eyeshadow setting powder such as LEMONAID by Benefit. You cover the eye with this before doing anything else and it helps set the makeup.
    Eyeshadows (many variaties)
    Eyeliner (brown, black and grey)
    Blusher (brown and black)
    Lipstick (lots of colours)
    Glosses (clear and coloured)

    BRUSHES:
    Concealer brush
    Foundation brush
    Large powder brush
    Small thinner powder brush
    eyeshadow brushes
    lip brushes
