I urge making your own invitations there are so many nice do it your self kits out there now days & it can really save a lot of money. Also do your programs yourself, go to a craft store or even an office store and get some nice linen paper & wholah you will have nice cheap programs. A nice favor thought is to make a CD of your favorite songs; songs that may hold an vital meaning to you & give out to your guests. A CD sure beats a pack of matches anyway.
Also, I had at our wedding a sildeshow of photos of my husband & I growing up & then dating. It was a nice touch and people really like that too.
