I’m interested in becomeing a wedding/event DJ, how do I go about starting that and what equipment do I need?

I’d like to use MP3s and not a bunch of CDs. I was the DJ for a friends anniversary party using my ipod and it went great. It sounds like something fun that could be a great supplement to my income. I’m just curious what type of set up one needs. I certainly don’t need to have every bell and whistle to start, just something so I can start doing parties/weddings, etc.
