these are gorgeous and would be perfect for a wedding picture afterwards to go in them

What we did/are doing for his mom is we have been secretly going to the other people in the family and getting their wedding portraits from all the generations we can find. Like the grandparents, his parents, fantastic grand parents.
I am going to use a bunch of picture frames and make one large grouping and in each frame will be that generations wedding photo. We secretly had a portrait of us in our wedding gear that is very similar to the wedding portrait of her and his dad (passed away) and it will be extra and there will be a blank spot for her to add the portrait when his sister gets married. For now that spot will just have a note thanking her for raising me an awesome husband…maudlin stuff like that.
My sister and her husband did silver plated photo albums with their names and the wedding date engrave on them so they could but wedding pictures in them.
Does your dad wear ties? Tie clip or gemstone stud. A piece of jewelry for your mother. A bottle of wine. A blown up picture of you as a baby in a nice frame. This is more of a girl thing but maybe your bride can help you with it. A scrapbook of a favorite vacation or moment in your life with them. Be discrete sneaking owing to their ancient photo albums.
