Try to focus on a theme or at least colors first. Once you start with that everything will kinds flow together. Outdoor weddings can get expensive because of all the rentals such as chairs, tables, linens, dishes and so on. Fall in Ohio is gorgeous so maybe do a fall theme with oranges and reds and lots of foliage. Excellent luck and most vital, have fun!

out door wedding is tough because you must prepare for the worst - you have to have a tent casing the whole area as well as rent chairs and tables (this can get expensive) you might also want to consider renting a dance floor for the outdoors

once you have that and it fits your budget find someone to cater your party and a DJ

as far as a theme - you don’t need one - your centerpieces can be either flowers or be creative with floating rose petals or floating candles

How smart of you to place the importance of starting a marriage in excellent fiscal standing above having a flashy, expensive wedding that foliage you in debt. You’re obviously ready for marriage!

Try your local parks and regeneration specialty. Many city-owned parks have dreadfully gorgeous spots to get married, with fantastic views and gorgeous flowers and trees built aptly in. They are comparable to privately-owned botanical gardens, without the beefy price tag for rental. I’m getting married in a park owned by the fantastic city of Lakewood, Colorado, and it is so gorgeous and picturesque, but it’s only costing me $75 to rent it for the entire day!

Hello there, I am also from Ohio….Wooster and like you I am also getting married outdoors. I am doing mine in October so there will be alot of colors already in nature. Try looking into a park reservation or somewhere where they have a waterfall or a gorgeous large oak tree rich in colors. If you have a favorite childhood memory of somewhere outdoors, that would also be a fantastic start. Alot of those thoughts are very inexpensive or even free. And if you or someone you know goes to a church you could get a excellent discount on chair and table rentals. Just remember if you do an outdoor wedding remember the weather here in Ohio can be a small shaky so keep that in mind.
Other thoughts, instead of getting a professional photographer get disposable cameras so that your family and friends can share in your wedding day. you can buy them online in bulk very cheap.
AND first and foremost, it is very vital to relax and remember this is all about you and your husband-to-be. try taking a bubble bath and reading a book….whatever you wish. You will be able to reckon clearer and make better decisions. Excellent luck.
