Excellent Luck…
If you are on a tight budget, the best places to look in online and second hand stores. Bravo brides is a place where you can buy used (and new) items for cheap for a wedding.
Start buying things you need soon, save up coupons and get the discounts.
For example, I had a candy buffet at my wedding. I got all my candy aptly after v-day because I wanted it in pinks. So I got it all half off! I bought my candy jars for Michaels using 40-50% off coupons! You can also borrow things from friends!
Always check ebay! You can also find cheaper things at stores like Marshels! Never pay full price!
You can rent things from a party rental vendor but that can get very pricey!
You should certainly look into preparation wedding websites like theknot.com or weddingwire.com that provide a preparation guide as to things you should do in a certain order that makes preparation less stressful.
For an outside wedding you always have to reckon of a back up, like what if it rains? If you go with a tent overlay, you can always decorate it with draping to make it look more formal. Another thought would be a flower decorated gazebo, for enhancement (I’m not sure how much your budget is even if).
First have a excellent dream. Get all the wedding magazines you can. Talk to the bride and groom. Make some mood boards of possible thoughts. Do a quest on Google images for wedding mood boards (see sources below).
Now get realistic. Work out a budget. Stick to the budget. Allow 10% for emergencies but try to keep that until the huge day if you can. If a touch is too expensive you must trim down somewhere else or not get it. That is the hard bit.
All the best
