I was thinking about attending the seminar of a famous wedding planner who’s been on TV for a while. No need to mention her name, you might know or have heard about her. She’s in New Jersey. I want to go because I want to get in the business, but things are a bit tough, but would make the sacrifice. The course fee is 0. Isn’t that a little too much or does it no matter since she’s famous and all? How much would you pay for an event planning course?

I know that’s about how much it takes to get accredited, but for just a seminar/class? Hmmm… to rich for my blood. It’s probably because she is famous. I would just try to find someone in the business and shadow them, learn, and go out on your own. I actually am just starting out, so I am offering to help brides in my area for free to get some experience. I think people look more for good references than for accreditation and classes… though they do help!! =)
The community college in my area has a full year course for $985
You pay whatever you have to pay based on your knowledge of this person and what you’ll gain from it. Since you won’t say her name for whatever reason & the whole question surrounds whether it’s worth it or not, it’s a bit confusing. How do I know? Don’t be so secretive if you want help. It’s like I’m not going to tell you who this person is but I want to know if it’s worth it. Okay.
