I wanna know һοw οtһеr brides аrе doing: Hοw many months til уουr wedding аחԁ wһаt major things ԁο уου still need tο take care οf?
9 and half months to go!
I am rather lucky, having a lot of experts in this field in my Family!
My wedding dress is being custom made by Mother in Law. plants, wedding cake done by aunt. My cousin does wedding Photo’s. I am booking my wedding venue the 1st week in Jan and they take care of the basic setting of tables and catering. My hair dresser is another aunt of mine.
I will be making my own paper and a friend is doing my invitations wording.
focal top pieces will be out of floating candles and roses, still playing around with the thought.
I have no thought what I will do for thank you gifts! and have no thought where to find someone excellent to do makeup.
My largest concern at the moment is setting up the guest list.
Most of my Wedding has just been falling together, I have not done much planing at all.
i have 9 months also till my wedding and i have booked the galla, bought my dress, fitted everyone, contacted the florist, and i have all the thank you gifts ready. but that’s just me excellent luck
I am 3.5 months out from my wedding and I am still working on centerpieces. , i need to buy one or two more attendant gifts ,need to buy some more flowers and vases .
the dress is being ordered and being made and should arrive by Jan and I just bought the accessories yesterday.
i have the venue, Dj , food , drinks , party favors , invitations have been sent out, cake is ordered. I am in suspense by the end of this month to have all the small projects finished and just sit back and delight in.but we all know that isn’t going to happen …
I have 6 months and I still have to get to the bakery and order my cake (I called a few months ago and they said they only need a few weeks notice) and then I also need to print and send out the invites. Other than alternative out a final music list and getting the marriage party dresses everything’s excellent!

Well I have 161 days till my huge day or 5 months. I have booked our cermony/reception hall (on the beach). My dress is in and all the items that goes with it, we have a deposite on the tuxes, have my flowers picked out (and there beaing made,silk flowers), dj booked, centerpices picked out (I am doing my own and I have all the stuff, just need to place it together).
I have started to buy molds for the candy I am making as favors, picked out candy bar selection and bowls, Just waiting to order them.
I have to buy gifts, give a list of must have poses to our photographers. Our songs are mostly picked out and we need to close up our vows. I am also making a slide show which I havent started on. So I have a lot done but yet sooo much more to do!! I have also been planing since Sep 3,06!!
I have to order invites, Cake tasteing, and choose on our menu (all beaing done this coming month) I took a break for the holidays. I am going to look at bridemaids dresses tommorw (I gave the girls over a year and three months to find a dress they all chose on) know I am just alternative one I like and thats it!
So I am about half way owing to what needs to be done!!
I use the knot.com it has helped me out alot! It keeps me on track and let me know if I am in succession behinde!

5 months ’til wedding day. We’ve booked the ceremony site, the venue, selected the menu and details for the cocktail/hors d’ouevre hour. We have an officiant (non-religious ceremony). The guest list is complete. I have my dress, shoes and purse. My matron of honor is lined up, and my brothers have chose to walk me up the aisle. We’ve booked a DJ and a photographer. We’re making our own invitations, so we have a prototype done of that, and all the materials bought to close those. Same for the thank-you cards, place cards and programs. We’re doing a goody-bag as our favor, and so all of the pieces for that are bought. I’ve spoken with a florist and have that ready to go, even if no contract was signed. We have 80% of the budget saved in the bank.
We still have to close the top of our centerpieces (my fiance is doing some wood-working for those), pick out the specific music we want to use (we’ve selected the ceremony music, but need to pick first dance, cake-cutting and toasting songs), find a baker (we’re having cupcakes instead of a cake, so that should be simpler and not require so much lead time). My fiance still needs to question his best man to stand up. We need to firm up the details with our photographer and the order of things with the DJ/MC. We need to choose where we’re going to spend our wedding night (we’ll be having out-of-town relatives staying at our house, so we reckon we want to be by ourselves at a hotel). My fiance needs to choose if he’s buying or renting a tux (we go to one or two charity balls a year, so it may be more practical to just buy one). We’re getting married in May, but not taking our honeymoon until September, so we need to plot that (we’ve chose we’re going to Italy, but we haven’t plotted exactly where, or gotten a travel agent).
It seems like there’s a lot to do for a wedding. But, as long as we’re both there with an officiant and two witnesses, I’ll be pleased!
4 months from wedding…
Everything is booked (just booked make up yesterday). We know what we want for just about everything, only need to make or buy.
I JUST GOT ENGAGED AND PLANNING ON JUNE 15TH WEDDING OF 2008.
NOTHING IS DONE OTHER THEN CALLING AROUND AND SEEING WHATS OPENED. I ALSO GOT WHOS DOING THE HAIR AND MAKE UP. BY THE END OF JAN WE WILL HAVE BOOKED OUR RECEPTION AND PARK FOR CEMERMONY, THE PHOTOGRAPHER, CAKE, FLOWERS AND HOPEFULLY HAVE MY DRESSES AND MY BRIDESMAIDS. OH AND ORDER INVITES/MUSIC AND DJ
I have 715 days or just under 24 months ( 2 yrs ) and I have everything done but paying for it. We have All our down payments plus some done and working on the rest

I have 3 weeks until my wedding. Everything is done except paying the final balance on our stuff…which should be done next week.
I got engaged in February of this year and getting married March 2008. In March, I found my ceremony/reception location and DJ and signed the contracts. I bought my dress in May. I ordered bridesmaids dresses in October. Currently, I am working on reception dinner location, photographer, invitations, honeymoon, and cake.
