I agree with CindyLu. Have him set up earlier if you can. It would be worth it to just have him come back and start playing as opposed to setting up while people are intake.
You could have him bestow for 4 hours of dancing, you dont have to have him bestow for the cocktail hour.
we have our dj coming for 4 hours After the dinner, no music during dinner, he can set up during that time.
