Congratulations on your date!
First of all you need to set a budget, if you don’t the wedding can cost more than you can imagine. I used "Marriage Bargains" by Denise Feilds. They had some fantastic thoughts for any size wedding.
You may want to attend a local marriage show. They can give you some fantastic thoughts. You can also meet and get samples from many different types of vendors (DJ, caterers, dresses, etc.)
Also, check out theknot.com, they have wonderful checklists.
Excellent luck!
The best way to start is to agree on having a small wedding. Then your preparation is reduced to a minimum.
start with a fiance, then a budget…….
There are many excellent books on the market, and many websites about wedding preparation. Talk to friends/family who recently got married. If you don’t have the time, hire a wedding planner.
