You have to be willing to work for free, at least for a couple of events. Also, question to help plot a friend’s wedding for free. Then document everything you do - pricing, organization, whatever. Take pictures too. This is how you start building a portfolio and resume in order to get a real job in the future. Every time you meet someone who sells anything even remotely related to weddings, get their affair card and stay in touch - this means flowers, dj services, dresses, rental property, you name it.
It would also help to get a degree in affair and/or top, etc. as well.
