My fiancee and I chose to do our own website off of the wedding networks only because most of them charge and then end after a few weeks or so after your wedding. We chose http://www.freewebs.com, really free forever. We posted everything we wanted and it has worked for us since we had it in May 2007.
We’re using http://www.mywedding.com and they are really free and fantastic! They have fabulous layouts, counting ones that match weddingpaperdivas designs. Fantastic if your a more contemporary bride.
well Im not sure I know what you mean by wedding website but if you just want a website to place up with pictures and stuff Geocities is excellent (and free) and AngelFire could also work
Wedding Channel.com offers free websites, you just need to sign up and become a member of the site.

Try http://www.mywedding.com they are fantastic! They have fantastic layouts and an unlimited amount on photos and photo folders! Extra pages for you to write whatever you wish! their templates are simple to use! Give them a try! They have everything you need for the length of time you need it and it’s absolutely FREE!
Hope this helps! Excellent Luck!
theknot.com is free
theknot.com is free, and they make it really simple to set up. You can make it personalized with the background. I also liked that I could use a password on it so that only the guests to the wedding can enter the parts of the site that clarify the details of the wedding and the guest book. I made mine, then included the site and password on the save the date cards that I sent out.
I use googlepages.com. You have to have a google account. I use that account for everything wedding related so it all worked out perfect!
I’m using http://www.freewebs.com. It’s pretty simple to use, and the excellent thing is that you can completely customize the pages you want to have. It’s not specifically for wedding websites, which is nice because then you can include things that are more personalized.
theknot.com has a excellent website also if your register anywhere like JcPenny they have a coupon to get a free website. Excellent Luck
