Ya A Brides Book i bought mine at Barnes and Nobles and its been i life saver but you may also want to buy marriage magazines if they have any cool thoughts that you re thinking about using for yourself. I also use weddingchannel.com and theknot.com to help me along the way
Try 2 find some books on Amazon.com
I like Stephi Stewart’s book "Fire Your Wedding Planner". Mostly it is all about teaching brides how to properly negotate with their vendors to get the best prices and all the free perks they deserve. I highly reccomend it and you can read it owing to her free 30 day trial. If you get on her email list open fire on send you money saving tips usually one or two a week.
I also bought a book from Barnes and Noble. Not sure of the exact title but it was just a small pocket sized preparation book broken down with what should be done by what date, like reception site chosen 1 year in advance. With my pocket planner and my Wedding binder where i keep all my color chips and the contracts and stuff It’s been simple so far.
If you are preparation a Christian ceremony, you may delight in:

Martha Stewart has a tear out in her magazine, like a "to do" list and how many months in advance it should be completed. It’s b/w on cream paper and it’s in every wedding magazine. I did my wedding in 4 months and it was really helpful.
Wedding Preparation for Dummies… it got a 4 star rating on Amazon.
The Girls Guide to Weddings…you can get it at Barnes & Noble, Borders, or at Amazon.com.
It comes with a dateline, checklists, questions to question different vendors, estimate and budget sheets, take up book, etc. Anything you can reckon of is covered in this book.
