don’t do it. personally, it’s a waste of money…better to use the money on the guest for that day or save it for a future house. everyone i know hardly watched their own wedding. i reckon photo is better because you can always discuss the picture (what happened, who the people are in the picture) with your family and friends. the discussion is usually lively cuz everyone have different recollection of the event.

i’m having 2 of my family members confirmation it, well i have a camcorder behind the alter recording looking back on the wedding, and it’s on a stand, then i have my dad recording the wedding, i also have 3 family members who are incredible with cameras taking pictures. i reckon it’s a waste of money if you can get someone to do it. no one watches the video more than once

please answer mine thank you http://answers.yahoo.com/quest.....311AAX1Rc2

no, i don’t reckon so… it is time consuming, another thing to worry about and keep track of… another person not enjoying the wedding to the fullest because of the responsibility… and really… how many times will it get watched?? will it make the memory more gorgeous than a still pictures??

It is ABSOLUTELY worth it!!! Pictures are nice, but there is just a touch about having that day recorded that makes it unforgettable. Our videographers did such a fantastic job and we’ve watched our video more then once (we had a fireworks show and choreographed dances that were fantastic to watch). But what I like the most is that they caught moments that I had forgotten about, like when we were taking pictures all of the groomsmen we’re lifting up my husband for a picture and I shouted… In case you fall… I like you Mark, and I didn’t even remember doing that. I loved being able to hear us saying our vows to each other. And we had some amusing things like our best man and made of honor, not knowing which step to stand on and they went up and down like three time, which a photographer just couldn’t catch, but the video got it and it was fantastic! Plus our priest made the ceremony really personal and even had guests stand up and talk and we’ve got all of that on tape, which we would have forgotten by now if we didn’t have it on video. And being able to see everyone dancing was so much fun. Plus they made a really nice thank you attachment because we sent a copy of the DVD out to all of our accurate family and marriage party members. The whole day went so quick it was wonderful to be able to watch it all again and see the things that we might have missed. And we did the personal messages to the bride and groom and that was priceless, we’ve got my 93 year ancient grandmother on there and everything and it will be wonderful to always have that of her when she’s gone, plus it will be awesome to be able to show our family at a later date. I just can’t say enough fantastic things about having a professional videographer. And I suggest you get a professional, and that you question for a sample of their work to make sure that you’ll get exactly what you want. I’m not sure where you’re located but we used 11-4 productions, their in Michigan and Florida and they have filmed things for ABC, NBC etc. They did a fantastic job and they have very reasonable rates and discount offers as well. Excellent Luck!!!
