There is nothing incorrect with a theme. If you like crowns/royality use dark purple or plum; its the color of royality. Also I have seen invitations that have a castle on the front kind of like Cinderella’s castle but a more elegant version. (this is the invite I have seen before http://sandstoneweddinginvitat.....omance.htm) Also, try invitationsbydawn.com; they have nice fairytale invites too.

To help minimize stress I urge getting a wedding planner or go to the knot.com. You can set up an account & enter your wedding date and make a timeline of when you should have things completed such as ordering your dress, caterer, etc. That will help keep you organized at the task at hand. And trust me things will pop up at the last small you did not even reckon about. Like my mother-in-law deciding the week before the wedding I did not order a huge enough cake, or my florist calling me on Thursday to come make sure I LOVED my flowers & decorations.

It helps to have your future husband and families caught up. My mother-in-law was awesome she did soooo much to help me with our wedding. And my husband did too; I made my own invitations and I was punching holes in the top & add ribbon to them well one Sunday afternoon I was sick of doing the invitiations & I had showed him how to do it. I chose to take a nap & when I woke up my box of invitations was complete. It was sooo sweet of him (I had to fix a couple because they did not meet my standards but it was the thought that counted.)

I also urge getting someone to do your decorations, I just picked out how I wanted the church & reception to look & wholah it was done better than I could have ever imagined & that is one less stress to worry about.

    Excellent Luck & Congratulations!!!

Please stay away from themes. They are played out and honestly most of them are just plain tacky. This is not a prom or a school production, it’s a wedding and the theme of the day is like and it is the first day of your lives together as a married couple. Colors really depend on your location and you don’t have to do "spring" colors because of the time of year, but do keep in mind that if you are doing an outdoor wedding, dark colors will tend to look heavy and not fresh. Less really is more when preparation a wedding. Paying attention to the vital details and letting go of the superfluous is really key when preparation a wedding, especially your own. Congratulations!

Where did you get engaged? What city were you in? Also, what is your favorite place to go as a couple. These are some theme thoughts.

Lots of stores have free wedding planners when you register with them, I know Penney’s is one. You can get a lot of thoughts from them. Also check out the magazines and books for free at your local library.
    Excellent luck.
