Yep…the secret is to stop caring about the details!
My flowers were a little messed up, our ceremony programs didn't get finished, I never got around to making welcome baskets for the guests…but I was sane and we had a great wedding!!!
It was bad timing, I had just finished my semester at school and had 2 weeks before the wedding, which included Christmas and New Years…so a lot went unfinished because I didn't want to ruin Christmas! haha. Not to mention the bachelorette party and rehearsal dinner happened too.
Keep reminding yourself that no one who attends the wedding knows exactly what you had planned. So long as you are married at the end of the day not one thing matters more…just enjoy the good things and forget about the little trifles that appear….do NOT yell at anybody!
just take a breath and let go of details. you've done all you can to ensure that everything is the way you want it.
you won't enjoy it if you micro-manage:) just try to stay focused and let go……

DELEGATE-Use the bridesmaids, that is their jobs. You asked them to join you, they knew the job description. Have a sit down and delegate responsibilities and be sure to thank them and let them you know you appreciate them both before and after the wedding!
Well, Im getting married in September and I plan on taking the week before the wedding off work so that lessens the strain a bit. I suppose Im looking to get most of the major details out of the way, so i wont be stressed out come the week leading up. I also have a GREAT support network. My mum has been an absolute godsend and my bridesmaids are always offerring ideas and wanting to make my day special. I also have a very loose plan of aciton for the next few months and also the week before the wedding. Get one of your bridesmaids to plan an emergency pack soon, you know, make up, tissures, panadol, pins and such so you know that is taken care of. Make sure you have a rehersal, so you have peace of mind that the ceremony is going to run smooth and just be happy that you'll soon be married to the love of your life!!
The Wedding is the easy part. You dress up and marry the man you love. It's the reception, it's probably the biggest party you will every have. Just remember people usually don't notice details and have fun even if every isn't exactly how you planned. Have fun and congrats. Oh an get a massage.
One word…Paxil
Take a deep breath…and relax,
week before, go out with your bestfriend and have fun, take your mind off the wedding
