    My wife and myself were married in Vegas just this last April and it was a fabulous experience. We had a regular ceremony with her in her dress, myself in my tux and the chapel we rented for an hour was just gorgeous and the staff was very forthcoming and helpful. We were married in the Princess Wedding Chapel in the Greek Isles Hotel. The link to their site is;

    Prices were reasonable and as I said, everyone was fantastic. They steam you dress for you and have Tux rental aptly there on site, just go there the day before your wedding and they take care of everything.

    If you don’t plot on wearing a dress and him not a tux and just want to go to get married then I would suggest Chapel of the Bells, my brother was married there and it’s a nice small chapel that has a lot of description behind it with many well-known people being married in it.     Also, don’t forget your going to need a Marriage Ticket, you can get one at the county clearks office for a fee of $55, their information is as follows;

    Marriage Bureau
    201 Clark Avenue
    Las Vegas, Nevada 89155-1603
    (702) 671-0600–thats their buzz number

    You can also visit their site which tells all the legal information you will need to bring with you, the site is as follows;

    As far as tips, depending on your wedding you plot on having, just have fun with it. Vegas is an awesome town, be sure after your ceremony you take in a show, lord knows theres enough of them to help make your day that much nicer. I would suggest dinner at a nice place, there are tons of fantastic places to eat in Vegas. I would highly suggest Spago, a restaurant in Caesars Palace owned and operated byy world well-known chef Wolfgang Puck. On the same location is Mesa Grill owned by Bobby Flay. You can expect about $30-$50 per person there, but its well worth it. Links to their sites are as follows.

    Also, make sure you call ahead on reservations for everything, chapel and restaurant’s alike. As far as taking in a show, I would urge going to the one of the Tickets2Nite stands in Vegas. There you can get show tickets for shows that same night and you can get them for up to half price, sometimes more. what happens if shows don’t book full in advance they then sell them for discounted rates to fill the shows. Their wed site is as follows.

    Anyways, I hope all of this helps you and I hope your wedding is indeed a special one, best of luck to both you and your husband to be and my thanks to him for serving our people. God Bless.

    I am preparation to go in January but so far I have found out the place to get the ticket is open 24 hours on the weekends and til midnight on weeknights. it costs 55 dollars tfor the ticket, most places have different prices so check around. Excellent luck !!!

    congratulations! You’ll need i.d. and $55 cash to pick up your licence (the bureau is no longer open 24 hours so try to get there during the day) and are then free to get married in any of the 70+ wedding chapels.

    The website below lets you browse every wedding chapel, quest wedding packages by cost, and has an online magazine with articles counting venues suitable for small weddings.

    Excellent luck - I hope you find what you want.
